Choose one customer need

Define the problem the page should help someone understand. A page about maintaining an existing website serves a different need from a page about building a new one. Use the terms your customers use and avoid trying to make one page cover every possible service.

Explain the scope

Describe what is included, who the service is suitable for and what you need before work begins. Replace broad promises with concrete deliverables. If a maintenance plan includes updates but excludes a redesign, make that distinction easy to find.

Add evidence and useful links

Link to relevant projects and explain what your team actually delivered. Avoid unsupported statistics or borrowed testimonials. Link related services where they help the reader continue their research, using descriptive link text rather than repeating vague calls to click here.

Answer buying questions

Use FAQs to explain the questions that come up in real conversations: timing, inputs, collaboration, pricing factors and support. Give direct answers. Do not repeat keywords or create dozens of nearly identical location pages without useful local information.

Review after publication

Check the page on mobile, confirm that its links work and make sure the next step is clear. Review search and enquiry data when available, then improve sections that leave readers confused. Publishing a page does not guarantee rankings; useful content needs ongoing care.

Your checklist

  • One clear page topic
  • Descriptive title and main heading
  • Specific deliverables and limitations
  • Relevant work and internal links
  • A clear contact or enquiry step
